  4. The total annual income of the student’s family should not exceed PHP 300,000.
  5. Exclusive Scholarship: Students must receive all other scholarships at different times.
  6. Disciplinary Record: Applicants must have a history of good behavior with no disciplinary actions.
  7. STEM Commitment: Students should intend to pursue STEM-related courses at the designated schools.

Note: Based on the previous application cycle, the application period for AY 2024–2025 opened on April 1, 2024 and ended on May 15, 2024. The application schedule for AY 2026–2027 has not yet been published.

    • Receiving failing, incomplete, or dropped grades.
    • Transferring to another school or changing courses.
    • Violating school policies during the scholarship period.
    • Receiving another scholarship simultaneously.

1. Can I apply for the scholarship if I haven’t been accepted to any of the preferred schools mentioned?

No, you must have proof of acceptance from one of the preferred schools before applying.

2. My final Grade 12 grades have yet to be made available. Can I still apply?

You can apply with your Grade 11 and first-semester Grade 12 grades.

3. Can private Grade 12 senior high school students apply for the scholarship?

No, this scholarship is only for graduating Grade 12 students from public schools within Region VII.

4. Are medical courses eligible for this scholarship?

The scholarship is only for specific STEM courses such as Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Psychology.

5. Can I apply if I plan to enroll in state universities?

No, the scholarship is only available for students enrolling in the preferred schools: CIT-U, UC, USC, USJR, and USPF.

6. Is participation in the Regional Science and Technology Fair (RSTF) required?

No, but participating in RSTF is an advantage.

7. Can I apply if I’ve also applied for other scholarships?

Yes, you can apply for multiple scholarships. You must choose which one to accept if you are awarded more than one.

8. I took the college entrance exam at a preferred school, but the results still need to be available. Can I still apply?

To apply, you must have proof of admission from a preferred school. Applications must also have proof of admission to be processed.

9. Can I submit the missing requirements after the application deadline?

No, incomplete applications will not be accepted after the deadline. Please ensure all required documents are submitted on time.
