Qualifications:

Applicants for the OWWA EDSP Scholarship must meet the qualifications for their respective category.

EDSP Category 1 — Incoming First-Year College Students

• Must be a child of an active OWWA member, or a sibling of an active OWWA member who is single or married but childless.
• No other member of the OFW family should be availing of any OWWA scholarship program.
• Must be single.
• Must be 21 years old or below.
• Must be a Grade 12 graduating student.
• Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% or its equivalent.

EDSP Category 2 — Students Already Enrolled in Second to Fifth Year of College

• Must be a child of an active OWWA member, or a sibling of an active OWWA member who is single or married but childless.
• No other member of the OFW family should be availing of any OWWA scholarship program.
• Must be single.
• Must be 30 years old or below.
• Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85% or its equivalent.
• Must have no failing grades.
• Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based college or university.

Requirements:

Applicants under both EDSP categories must prepare the following basic documents for the online application.

1. Proof of Identity

OFW’s Identity Document

• Copy of the OFW’s valid passport bio or information page

Dependent Applicant’s Identity Documents

• Valid school ID or another available valid ID
• Birth certificate or baptismal certificate

2. Proof of Academic Grades

Prepare a record of your grades from the previous school year, such as:

• Form 137
• Form 10 [TOR], as listed in OWWA’s checklist
• Form 138 or report card
• Certificate of Grades issued by the school
