1. Be a first- or second-year student taking a bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in STEM-related fields or technical-vocational training education.
2. Be enrolled in a college or university with a Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) performance above 65%.
3. Have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85%, or its equivalent, from the previous year, with no failed, dropped, or incomplete grades during that year.
4. Need financial support to complete their studies.
5. Be a resident of Region VIII, Region IX, Region XII, Region XIII, or BARMM and be willing to teach in a public school in their community after graduation.
6. Have good moral standing, no existing disciplinary case, and active participation in extracurricular or community activities.

Year-level clarification: GBF’s documentary checklist includes incoming college students and labels another category “2nd year and above.” However, its eligibility section specifically lists first- and second-year students. Documentary Requirements

1. Proof of Academic Standing

For incoming college students

• Certified true copy of the Grade 12 report card. The first-term report card may be submitted if the second-term report card is not yet available.
• Certificate of Good Moral Character for AY 2025–2026.
• Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 2026–2027. If unavailable, use GBF’s Letter of Intent to Enroll template.

For continuing college students

• Certified true copy of grades for the first term of AY 2025–2026. Signed or certified portal-generated grades are accepted.
• Registration form for the second or third term of AY 2025–2026.
• Certificate of Good Moral Character for AY 2025–2026.

2. Proof of Annual Household Income

Submit an applicable income document from the options listed by GBF.

If your parent or parents are employed in the private or public sector, or are self-employed

• Recently filed 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR). See the form-number clarification below.
• Certificate of Employment with Salary dated 2026 for the parent contributing to household income.
• Employment contract showing salary for an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).
• Screenshot of income from January to March 2026 for self-employed individuals working through services such as Grab or Lalamove.

If your family depends on a senior parent’s pension

• Proof of pension.

If your parent or parents have no regular source of income and are exempt from filing taxes

• BIR Tax Exemption Certificate. GBF states that this is to be submitted later upon successful application.

Tax form clarification: GBF’s page lists “Form 2303 (employed)” and “Form 1701 (self-employed)” under its 2025 annual ITR requirement. However, BIR Form 2303 is a Certificate of Registration, not an annual ITR. Applicants relying on this option should confirm the intended form directly with GBF before submitting it. Step 6: Attend the exam and interview if invited.
