Qualifications:

OSDP CATEGORY 1 (Incoming 1st Year College)

• Must be a child or sibling of an OFW Active member.
• Must be single.
• Must not be more than 21 years old.
• Must have a passing general weighted average (GWA) from previous school year.
• Must have a monthly OFW income not more than USD 1,000.00 or its equivalent.
• Must have NO AVAILMENT of any OWWA Scholarship Program by other Members of the OFW Family.

OSDP CATEGORY 2 (Already enrolled in 2nd Year to 5th Year in College)

• Must be a child or sibling of an OFW Active member.
• Must be single.
• Must not be more than 30 years old.
• Must have a passing general weighted everage (GWA) from previous school year.
• Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based College/University.

Requirements:

To complete your OWWA ODSP Scholarship application, you must prepare the required documents in advance. Ensure that all submitted documents are complete, valid, and up to date to help avoid delays in the application process.

To apply, applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:

1. Proof of Identity
   • For OFW applicants: Copy of a valid OFW passport bio or information page.
   • For dependent applicants:
     • Valid school ID or any other valid government-issued ID.
     • Birth certificate or baptismal certificate.
2. Proof of Grades
   • Copy of grades from the previous school year, such as:
     • Form 137
     • Form 10 (Transcript of Records)
     • Form 138 (Report Card)
     • Certificate of Grades issued by the school
3. 2×2 ID Picture
   • Recent 2×2 ID picture of the OFW’s dependent (child or sibling applicant)
   • White background
   • With the applicant’s name tag and signature

Note: If you cannot provide your current or previous semester grades, grades from the last two (2) school years may be submitted as a reference.

Benefits:

The OWWA ODSP Scholarship provides financial assistance to help qualified scholars pursue their college education. Below are the benefits available under the scholarship program.

• Financial assistance of ₱20,000.00 per school year.
• The scholarship may be used while pursuing a four-year or five-year bachelor’s degree or an associate degree program at a recognized college or university in the Philippines.

Priority Courses:

The  OWWA ODSP Scholarship does not have a list of priority courses.

Qualified applicants may enroll in any four-year or five-year bachelor’s degree program or any associate degree program offered by a recognized college or university in the Philippines, provided they meet the scholarship’s eligibility requirements.

Partner School:

The OWWA ODSP Scholarship does not have an official list of partner schools. 

Qualified applicants may enroll in any Philippine-based college or university that offers a four-year or five-year bachelor’s degree program or an associate degree program, provided they meet the school’s admission requirements and the scholarship’s eligibility criteria.

Application Deadline:

The application deadline for the OWWA ODSP Scholarship is announced by OWWA during each application period.
