About Gold Eagle College Scholarship:

The Gold Eagle College Scholarship Grant for STEM, facilitated by the Insular Foundation in collaboration with six prestigious institutions, is designed to assist deserving first-year college students pursuing higher education in STEM fields.

Qualifications:

Applicants for the Insular Foundation Gold Eagle College Scholarship Grant for STEM must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Must be a bona fide student at one of Insular Foundation’s partner schools, enrolled in a STEM course identified for that school
  2. Must be an incoming 1st-year college student who has passed the partner school’s admission test
  3. Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85% in Grade 11 and Grade 12 (up to the first term or second grading period)
  4. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time the grant is awarded
  5. Must be financially needy:
  6. For UP Diliman: Parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱500,000
  7. For provincial SUCs: Parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱250,000
  8. Must not have been subject to any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension in Senior High School
  9. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grant during the period covered by the Insular Foundation scholarship

Here are the important criteria you need to meet to qualify for the Insular Foundation Gold Eagle College Scholarship Program.

  3. Certified True Copy of Grade 11 and Grade 12 Report Card with General Weighted Average (For the Grade 12 Report Card, available grades should be up to the first term or second grading period at the minimum.)
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character
  5. Certified True Copy of BIR Latest Income Tax Return (ITR). If not available, submit a Notarized Affidavit of Source of Income.
  6. Certified True Copy of Certificate of Registration/Admission in the university/college

Note: Both parents, legal guardian (if applicable), and siblings (if working) should have an ITR or notarized affidavit of source of income.   • Save your requirements in one PDF document. Other file formats such as doc, jpeg, png, or zip folders are NOT acceptable. Follow this order:
    • a. 2×2 photo with a white background
    • b. Certified True Copy of Grade 11 and Grade 12 Report Card with General Weighted Average (For the Grade 12 Report Card, available grades should be up to the first term or second grading period at the minimum.)
    • c. Certificate of Good Moral Character

Step 4: Declaration

  • I signify my agreement to the terms and conditions set forth by the IFI for the scholarship program as follows:A scholar must:
    • Carry the regular academic load every semester.
    • Finish the course within the prescribed term set by the college/university.
    • Maintain a GWA of at least 85% or its equivalent per term/semester, with no grade lower than 75% or its equivalent in any subject.
    • Not have been subjected to any school disciplinary action with a penalty heavier than a five-day class suspension. A scholar is not allowed to:
    • Shift courses.
    • Transfer schools.
    • Drop subjects and take a leave of absence without prior approval of the partner school’s Office of the Scholarship and the Insular Foundation.
    • Receive any other scholarship grant at the time of the grant. Service Requirement:
    • Upon graduation, scholars must not work outside of the country within two (2) years starting after the graduation date. Insular Foundation’s only request is that its graduates serve the country and its citizens first.
    • Graduates are also invited to prioritize applying at Insular Life either as an employee (subject to manpower requirements) or as a financial advisor. Graduates who are accepted must stay with the company for at least two (2) years. No Insular Foundation scholar graduates are allowed to join direct competitors of Insular Life either as an employee or financial advisor within two (2) years from the date of graduation.

Your information will be used solely for the purpose of assessing your application and administering the scholarship program. All data will be handled with strict confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
