APTSFI College Scholarship Program 2026 Application Guide

The APTSFI College Scholarship Program of Andres P. Tamayo Sr. Foundation, Inc. (APTSFI) provides educational assistance to deserving Filipino students from indigent families. It supports qualified Senior High School graduates through scholarship grants, financial aid, and values formation training to help them pursue and complete their college education.

Qualifications:

The APTSFI College Scholarship Program is open to qualified Filipino Senior High School graduates who meet the academic, financial, and enrollment requirements set by the Andres P. Tamayo Sr. Foundation, Inc. (APTSFI). 

I. Educational Requirement

Applicants must:

  • Be a graduate of any Senior High School.
  • Have a minimum Senior High School average grade of 85%, supported by a photocopy of the Senior High School Report Card (Form 138).
  • Take up any baccalaureate course in any state university and/or public college.

II. Citizenship and Character Requirement

Applicants must:

  • Be a Filipino citizen.
  • Have good moral character certified by the Senior High School Principal or a recognized school authority.

III. Financial Need Requirement

Applicants must:

  • Come from an indigent family as assessed by the DSWD, MSWD, or CSWD.

IV. Scholarship Restriction

Applicants must:

  • Not be a recipient of any major scholarship or financial aid, including pre-need educational plans, DOST, CHED, or other academic-related scholarships.
  • Submit a duly notarized affidavit confirming that they are not receiving another major scholarship.

  • Applicants must satisfy all qualification requirements to be considered.

Maintenance of Scholarship:

The APTSFI College Scholarship Program requires scholars to maintain good academic performance and comply with the foundation’s scholarship conditions to continue receiving benefits.

Scholars must:

  • Maintain a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 85% or its equivalent every term.
  • Have no failing grades, incomplete grades, or dropped subjects.
  • Take a full academic load every semester as a regular student.
  • Continue enrollment without skipping any year within the four (4) consecutive years of scholarship.
  • Avoid disciplinary actions in school or community.

Scholars must also:

  • Not shift to another college program/course.
  • Not transfer from a state university to a private school.
  • Not accept employment while under the scholarship program.

Note: A remedial case may be allowed for one semester if the scholar obtains a GWA below 85% but has no failing grades.
