Qualifications:

The OWWA CMWSP Scholarship is open to qualified migrant workers and children of OFWs who meet the following requirements.

Eligible Applicants

• Active OFWs who are not more than 45 years old
• Children of active or inactive OFWs who are below 21 years old

Academic Qualifications

• For children of OFWs: A General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% without failing grades, or standing within the top 20% of the graduating class
• For OFW applicants: No failing grades
• For Alternative Learning System (ALS) passers: An average of at least 85% or its equivalent under the Continuing Education Program–Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E), as certified by a DepEd-accredited school

Other Qualifications

• Meet OWWA’s annual gross family income requirement, listed in its terms as “$2,400.00 or ₱76,000.00.”
• No other member of the OFW family should be availing of any OWWA scholarship program.

Requirements:

1. Identity Documents

For OFW Applicants

• Copy of a valid passport bio or information page

For Dependent Applicants

• Valid school ID or any government-issued valid ID
• Birth certificate or baptismal certificate

2. Academic Records

Submit any of the following:

• Form 137
• Form 138 (Report Card)
• Form 10 or Transcript of Records (TOR)
• Certificate of Grades issued by the school

Note: If your latest grades are unavailable, OWWA may accept grades from the previous two school years.

3. 2×2 ID Photo

• Recent 2×2 photo
• White background
• With the applicant’s name tag and signature
