The Iskolar Sang Iloilo Program (ISIP) is a scholarship program of the Iloilo Provincial Government that was established on April 29, 1996, through Provincial Ordinance No. 20. The program was created to help deserving students from Iloilo Province pursue higher education while serving as a long-term investment in developing the province’s future professionals and leaders.

Every school year, the program selects 125 new scholars from across the province. To ensure equal opportunities, the available slots are divided equally among Iloilo’s five congressional districts, with 25 scholarship slots allocated to each district.

The scholarship supports qualified students throughout their college education, covering 4- to 5-year degree programs, depending on the course they are taking. Through this support, ISIP helps reduce the financial burden on students and their families while encouraging scholars to complete their education and contribute to the development of Iloilo Province.
