GBF STEM College Scholarship 2026 Application Guide

Qualifications:

Before applying for the GBF STEM College Scholarship, make sure that you meet all the qualifications listed below. Only applicants who satisfy these eligibility requirements will be considered during the selection process. 

• Must be enrolled in a GBF priority STEM course.
• Must have an outstanding academic record with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85% (or 2.0 or its equivalent).
• Must be of good moral standing and actively participate in extracurricular activities.
• Must demonstrate financial need to complete their studies.

Requirements:

To complete your application for the GBF STEM College Scholarship, you need to prepare and submit the required documents. Make sure that all the requirements are complete and accurate to avoid delays in the evaluation of your application. 

For Incoming College Students

• Certified True Copy of Grade 12 Report Card or Form 137
• Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 2026–2027

For Continuing College Students (2nd Year and Above)

• Certified True Copy of Grades for the past two (2) consecutive semesters (2nd/3rd Term AY 2024–2025 and 1st Term AY 2025–2026)

Proof of Annual Household Income

Submit any one of the following, depending on your family’s source of income:

If your parent(s) are employed in the private or public sector, or are self-employed:

• Recently filed 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR):
  • BIR Form 2316 (for employed parents)
  • BIR Form 1701 (for self-employed parents)
• Certificate of Employment with Salary (dated 2025) for family members contributing to the household income
• Employment Contract with Salary (for Overseas Filipino Workers or OFWs)
• Screenshot of January–March 2026 income (for self-employed individuals working with ride-hailing or delivery platforms such as Grab or Lalamove)

If your family’s income comes from a senior citizen’s pension:

• Proof of Pension

If your parent(s) do not have a regular source of income and are exempt from filing taxes:

• BIR Tax Exemption Certificate (to be submitted after successful application, if required)

Benefits:

The GBF STEM College Scholarship provides financial assistance and valuable learning opportunities to qualified scholars. Below are the benefits that successful applicants can receive throughout the scholarship program. 

• Annual financial grant ranging from ₱80,000 to ₱120,000, depending on the partner university. The grant is sent directly to the scholar’s bank account.
• Scholar development programs, including leadership development and skills enhancement activities.
• Internship opportunities in a partner business unit within the Gokongwei Group.
• Employment opportunities within the Gokongwei Group after graduation, subject to available job openings and successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.

The GBF STEM College Scholarship is intended for students taking eligible STEM-related degree programs. Check the list of priority courses below to see if your chosen program qualifies for the scholarship.

• BS Avionics Technology
• BS Aircraft Maintenance Technology
• BS Chemical Engineering
• BS Chemistry
• BS Civil Engineering

• BS Electrical Engineering
• BS Industrial Engineering
• BS Information Technology
• BS Mechanical Engineering
• BS Pharmacy
• BS Radiologic Technology
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

Note: Accepted year levels vary depending on the course. Applicants should check their eligibility before applying. 

Partner School:

Applicants for the GBF STEM College Scholarship must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an eligible college or university while taking an approved priority STEM course. 

The Foundation does not publish a fixed list of partner schools for this scholarship. 

Instead, eligibility is based on the applicant’s degree program. 

Before applying, applicants are encouraged to use the official GBF Eligibility Checker to verify if their school and chosen course are eligible.

Application Deadline:

If you are interested in applying for the GBF STEM College Scholarship, be sure to submit your application on or before the official deadline. Applying early is highly recommended to give yourself enough time to complete all the required documents and avoid missing the application period.
