DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program 2026 Application Guide 

The DAR Scholarship Program for Dependents of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (DSP-DARBs) is a scholarship program of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) that provides financial assistance to qualified dependents of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

Qualifications:

To qualify for the DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements set by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The scholarship is intended for qualified dependents of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) who demonstrate academic potential and financial need.

• Be a legitimate dependent of an Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB), such as a son, daughter, grandchild, nephew, niece, or a child under legal guardianship.
• Have a combined annual family gross income of not more than ₱100,000.
• Be a Senior High School graduate with a general average of at least 83%.
• Pass the entrance examination of the chosen State University or College (SUC).
• Be physically fit and of good moral character.
• Have no criminal record or pending administrative or criminal case.
• Not be receiving any other government scholarship or financial assistance program

• Authenticated PSA Birth Certificate.
• Health Certificate issued by a government hospital or a licensed physician.
• Barangay Clearance.
• Certified photocopy of Form 137 (High School Report Card).
• Statement of Commitment and Support from the applicant’s parents or legal guardian.
• Certificate of Good Moral Character issued by the school principal or a religious leader in the community.
• Certified True Copy of the parents’ Income Tax Return (ITR).

Benefits:

The DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to qualified scholars to help cover their educational expenses while pursuing their studies. Below are the benefits that eligible scholars may receive under the program.

School Fees	Up to ₱10,000 per semester, paid directly to the State University or College (SUC).
Monthly Stipend	₱3,000 per month during actual school attendance.
Book Allowance	₱2,000 per semester.
Transportation and Lodging Allowance	₱500 per month, which may be converted into an internet allowance for online learning.
Thesis Allowance	₱10,000 for graduating scholars.
Graduation Fee	Up to ₱5,000.
Summer Class Support	Includes the monthly stipend, book allowance, and transportation and lodging allowance if summer classes are required by the curriculum.

Priority Courses:

The DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program supports students who plan to pursue agriculture-related degree programs. Applicants must enroll in an eligible course offered by a participating State University or College (SUC).

• BS in Agriculture
• BS in Agricultural Technology
• BS in Agricultural Entrepreneurship
• BS in Agricultural Education
• BS in Agricultural Chemistry
• BS in Agribusiness
• BS in Economics
• BS in Farming Systems
• BS in Homemaking
• Other degree programs directly related to agriculture

Partner School:

The DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program is available to qualified applicants who enroll in eligible State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) recognized by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). Applicants must pass the admission requirements and entrance examination of their chosen SUC.

Note: The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) does not publish a fixed national list of partner schools. Instead, the scholarship is available at accredited State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) that meet the program’s guidelines.

Application Deadline:

The DSP-DARBs Scholarship Program accepts applications only during the official application period announced by the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). Applicants should submit their completed requirements before the deadline to be considered for the scholarship.

Application Period is from February 19, 2026 to March 19, 2026.
