The DOST S&T Undergraduate Scholarships 2026 can help students pursue their college education in science and technology fields.

Qualifications:

Citizenship

  • Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen.

Family Income

  • Must come from a low-income family based on the scholarship’s socio-economic guidelines.

Educational Background

For Graduating Grade 12 Students (SY 2025–2026):

  • STEM Strand: All STEM students may apply.
  • Non-STEM Strand: Must belong to the top 5% of the graduating class.

For Grade 12 Graduates Who Have Not Yet Enrolled in College:

  • STEM Strand: All STEM graduates may apply.
  • Non-STEM Strand: Must belong to the top 5% of the graduating class.

Residency

  • Must have lived in the municipality for at least four (4) years.
  • Must provide a barangay certification as proof of residency.

Character and Health

  • Must be of good moral character.
  • Must be in good health.

College Enrollment Status

  • Must not have earned any college or vocational units.

DOST-SEI Scholarship Status

You may apply if you:

  • Applied for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not qualify; or
  • Qualified for the DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship but did not avail of the award.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Certificate of Good Health
  • Recent passport-size photo (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm or 1.8 in x 1.4 in)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Signed Declaration of Applicant and Parent/Legal Guardian

School Certification (Choose the one that applies to you)

  • Principal’s Certification for STEM strand students (Graduating or Graduated Grade 12)
  • Principal’s Certification for Non-STEM students in the upper 5% of the class

  • Certification for Alternative Learning System (ALS) students

Residency and Background Documents

  • Certificate of Residency
  • Parent’s Certification stating no pending immigration application to another country

  • DOST-SEI Scholarship Examination result or award notice
