  • You are already participating in a scholarship program funded by the Government of Canada.
  • You are already enrolled in a degree, diploma, or certificate program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

  • College/Undergraduate (4 months): $10,200 for four months or one academic term. This includes studying or doing research at the college or undergraduate level. You need an exchange agreement that waives tuition fees.
  • College/Undergraduate (8 months): $15,900 for eight months or two academic terms. This includes studying or doing research at the college or undergraduate level. You need an exchange agreement that waives tuition fees.
  • Graduate (4 months): $10,200 for four months or one academic term. This includes studying or doing research at the graduate level (Masters and PhD). No exchange agreement is needed.
  • Graduate (5-6 months): $12,700 for five to six months. This includes studying or doing research at the graduate level (Masters and PhD). No exchange agreement is needed.

What the Scholarship Covers

You can use the scholarship money for:

  • Visa or study/work permit fees
  • Airfare
  • Health insurance
  • Living expenses (rent, utilities, food)
  • Local transportation (public transportation pass)
  • Books and supplies (not computers or equipment)

Extra Help for Canadian Schools

  • $500 per student for administrative costs

Notification of Results

  • Successful candidates will be notified by the scholarship administrator in the spring.
  • No feedback will be given for unsuccessful applications.
